An earthquake of magnitude 7.7 that originated in Turkey was felt in many parts of Israel during the night of Sunday, reports Arutz-7. The estimated magnitude of the earthquake in Israel was 4.7. Residents of the Holyland neighborhood in Jerusalem reported feeling the quake for a minute, while those in Lod and other central Israel areas also felt the tremor. A resident of Ra'anana stated that the earthquake was felt in their 11th-floor apartment of a 14-story building for about four minutes. There were no reports of injuries or damages. In late January, a powerful earthquake occurred between Turkey and Crete and was also felt in Gush Dan and Haifa, among other places.
