Today, 17 captivity survivors who were released about a month ago will visit President Donald Trump at the White House. The group includes twins Gali and Ziv Berman from Kibbutz Kfar Aza, who are meeting the President in the Oval Office for the first time.
The Berman twins will present President Trump with the original mezuzah from their home in Kfar Aza's Young Generation neighborhood, where they were kidnapped on October 7th. Their neighborhood was devastated in the attack, with nearly every home destroyed. When the twins finally returned to survey the damage just last week, they discovered that their mezuzah had miraculously survived the flames that consumed their house.
Captivity survivors Gali and Ziv Berman stated: "We came to thank the President of the United States for the many actions he took toward our release. At the same time, it's important to remember that the mission is not yet complete. There are three deceased hostages still being held in Gaza. Until everyone returns, we cannot begin our rehabilitation as a society and as a nation."
The mezuzah will be accompanied by a personal letter from the Berman family to President Trump, which reads: "A Gift from Kfar Aza - In Honor of the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump."... Read More: Arutz-7
