Baltimore, MD - July 30, 2025  - The Baltimore City Department of Transportation announced Tuesday that new automated traffic enforcement cameras will be activated next month in a continued effort to enhance roadway safety—particularly around schools and along truck-restricted routes.

Beginning on or about August 11, speed enforcement cameras will be installed in two additional school zones:

  • The 200–400 blocks of E. 29th Street, near Barclay Elementary School
  • The 3200–3600 blocks of Pulaski Highway, near Highlandtown Elementary/Middle School

These cameras will operate Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. year-round, targeting drivers who exceed the posted speed limit by 12 mph or more.... Read More: FOX45
