Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to fly to the US to meet with President Donald Trump at the White House on Monday and discuss the new tariffs imposed on Israel, the nuclear crisis with Iran, the war in Gaza, and the hostages, four sources familiar with the matter told Walla.

A White House official later confirmed that Trump approved the visit.

In order for the visit to happen, Netanyahu will need to request a delay of the planned testimonies for his ongoing corruption trial this week.

If the visit does go ahead, the prime minister will not return to Israel from Budapest, where he has been staying since Wednesday night. Instead, he will fly directly to Washington on Sunday.... Read More: JPost
