Hello,
My name is Bracha, and I'm the mother of Shira - a sweet and brave little Israeli girl.
Shira is suffering from a serious medical condition, and we need urgent treatment to help her recover.
As her mother, I’m doing everything I can, but our situation is very difficult, and we have large expenses for treatments and medications that we cannot afford on our own.
With a heavy heart, I am reaching out to ask for your help.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to providing Shira with the care she desperately needs.
It’s not easy to ask, but Shira needs this so much, and I don’t know what to do without your help.
With endless gratitude,
Bracha

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu came to the defense of billionaire and US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Elon Musk on Thursday after the latter was accused of making a Nazi salute.
"Elon Musk is being falsely smeared," Netanyahu declared in a post on X.
He added: "Elon is a great friend of Israel. He visited Israel after the October 7 massacre in which Hamas terrorists committed the worst atrocity against the Jewish people since the Holocaust. He has since repeatedly and forcefully supported Israel’s right to defend itself against genocidal terrorists and regimes who seek to annihilate the one and only Jewish state.
"I thank him for this."
The X, Tesla, and Space-X CEO came under fire earlier in the week when during an address after President Donald Trump's ina...
"From Hamas's perspective, they are making a major comeback as a dominant force in Gaza," Dr. Michael Milshtein, a senior researcher at the Dayan Center at Tel Aviv University, told 103FM on Thursday regarding the developments in the Gaza Strip in the context of the hostage deal and the ceasefire.
"Their situation is not bad. It's terrible for us to say this because we wanted to see a battered, beaten, and maybe even barely existing organization. Yesterday, the education system in Gaza announced that schools will soon reopen, even though 85% of schools no longer exist. 6,000 Hamas police officers have been deployed throughout the strip, making it clear to everyone who is in charge and signaling that there's no point in talking about the 'post-war era,...
Israel is on high alert for the publication of Hamas's two lists on Friday, it was announced on Thursday.
One list is expected to include the names of three kidnapped female soldiers as well as the name of Arbel Yehud from Nir Oz, who, according to intelligence estimates, is being held by a Salafi group linked to Islamic Jihad in Khan Yunis.
Four female hostages are set to be released on Saturday as part of the hostage-ceasefire deal.
Hamas is also supposed to pass on a list of the status of the remaining 26 hostages held in Gaza who are on the release list for the first phase.
For the first time, Israel will, therefore, receive official information about the fate of the Bibas family: Parents Shiri and Yarden and children Ariel and Kfir.

The rate hike is intended to fund critical infrastructure projects and comply with a federal consent decree that the city's Department of Public Works (DPW) has been under for over a decade. Public works officials insist the increase is essential, citing years of neglect.

Annapolis, MD - Jan. 23, 2025 - Some Maryland lawmakers are seeking to make it easier for the state to tax the income of those living in Maryland on a limited basis.
A bill proposed by progressive lawmakers in both the Maryland House and Senate seeks to modify the residency classification of individuals who spend more than 90 days in Maryland annually. Current state law requires a person to reside in Maryland for at least six months to be considered a resident for income tax purposes.
Sen. James Rosapepe, D-Prince George’s and Anne Arundel Counties, told Spotlight on Maryland on Wednesday he believes now is the time to close what he feels are tax loopholes.
“Basically, we got people that have two or three homes in different states, and some of that is to try to avo...

The Interior Ministry is planning to change the criteria for receiving arnona (property tax) discounts, in a process which is expected to affect thousands of families in Israel.
Under the new policy, instead of presenting payslips from the past three months, those requesting an arnona discount will need to present their average income for an entire year.
The change is expected to harm Israel's weaker sectors, especially the families of married yeshiva students, since it is seen as ignoring their unique sources of income, which are sometimes based off family support or seasonal income.
"Many of the families rely on irregular sources of income, such as help from their parents or temporary jobs," a kollel (yeshiva for married men) student told Arutz Sheva - Israel National News. ...
