Tel Aviv, Israel - Jan 21, 2025 - 4 Injured in Stabbing Attack in Tel Aviv

This evening (Tuesday) at 21:12 reports were received at MDA's 101 emergency call center in the Dan region about a stabbing attack in Tel Aviv. The injured were located at three scenes: 29 Nachalat Binyamin Street, near the Shalom store on Herzl Street, and at the corner of Kalischer and Gruzenberg Streets.

MDA teams arrived quickly at the scenes and provided medical treatment to four patients, including two in moderate condition and two in mild condition, before evacuating them to Ichilov Hospital.

A 28-year-old male was moderately injured with stab wounds to his upper body.

Two 24-year-old males were injured: one in moderate condition with stab wounds to his upper body, and the other in mild condition with a hand injury.

A 59-year-old man sustained a mild hand injury.


The assailant was neutralized at the scene by bystanders.

Yosef Kurdi and Adiel Azulai, EMTs from MDA's mediycle unit, reported:
"We arrived quickly and in large numbers at the three scenes. At the Kalischer Street scene, we found a 59-year-old male walking around fully conscious, suffering from a hand injury. After providing treatment, including bandaging and stopping the bleeding, we evacuated him to the hospital in mild condition. Nearby, the assailant was neutralized."

Shlomo Levi, an EMT from MDA's motorcycle unit, added:
"At Nachalat Binyamin near Building 29, we treated two 24-year-old men. One suffered a stab wound to his upper body, and the other had a hand injury. We provided initial treatment, including stopping life-threatening bleeding, and quickly evacuated them in mobile intensive care units. One was in moderate condition, and the other was in mild condition."

Dor Kaufman, an MDA paramedic:
"Near the Shalom store, we treated a 28-year-old man who had stab wounds to his upper body. He told us he had fled to the location after being stabbed. We stabilized him on-site, and he was evacuated to the hospital in moderate and stable condition."
