Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., has accepted an invitation to meet with President-elect Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, the senator's office confirmed to The National News Desk (TNND) Thursday.

Sen. Fetterman said in a statement the meeting was proposed by Trump. The senator noted he represents "all Pennsylvanians," not just Democrats in the state.

I’ve been clear that no one is my gatekeeper," he said. "I will meet with and have a conversation with anyone if it helps me deliver for Pennsylvania and the nation.”
