Baltimore, MD - Jan. 8, 2025 - Don't put away those snow shovels just yet. Mother Nature may have another round of snow heading toward Maryland this weekend. That will be accompanied by more bitter cold, with lows plunging into the teens three of the next five nights.

A winter storm threat may materialize late Friday night into early Saturday, the National Weather Service said.

A developing ice storm will target southern states by the end of the week before turning toward the mid-Atlantic and possibly New England this weekend, AccuWeather said. There's a potential for 1 to 3 inches of snow.

AccuWeather said the storm could quickly head east into the ocean, leaving Central Maryland with less snow and the lower Eastern Shore with more.... Read More: Pikesville Patch
