Baltimore, MD - Dec. 5, 2024:
Dear Friends of TA,
Yesterday morning we announced the launch of our campaign for Lamdeinu, TA's center for academic and enrichment resources. This campaign is lovingly dedicated to the cherished memory of our beloved veteran Lamdeinu teacher, Mrs. Miriam (Fink) Mintz, a"h.
Her sudden passing this past summer left a profound void in our hearts and in the lives of all who were blessed to know her. Though her loss is still painfully fresh, her enduring legacy continues to inspire us each day.
Mrs. Mintz was the embodiment of passion, creativity, and unconditional love. Her heart and soul were devoted to reaching and teaching each of her students, whom she embraced as her own. Her smile, positivity, and belief in every child remain etched in the hearts of all who knew her. Mrs. Mintz's commitment to chinuch and to "her boys" was unparalleled—she saw not just who her students were but who they could become, and she poured every ounce of her energy into helping them get there.
To Mrs. Mintz, every child was a world. She had a rare and intuitive ability to uncover her students' unique strengths, celebrating their achievements as though they were her own. For her, every academic milestone wasn’t just progress—it was a triumph. She was a master at transforming "I can't" into "I can," empowering her students with the confidence to reach their fullest potential.
With the permission of her family, we are sharing a link to a special tribute page, https://causematch.com/lamdeinu/miriammintz where you can make a donation to Lamdeinu in her memory.
May this campaign, and the immeasurable learning and growth it will foster, serve as an eternal merit for Miriam's neshama. It is a privilege to honor her by continuing the mission that was so close to her heart. Miriam's impact on her students and the Lamdeinu community is a legacy of love, strength, and inspiration—one that will continue to uplift us for generations to come.
Warmly,
Rabbi Yaacov Cohen
