IDF Spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari briefed the press on Tuesday after the rescue of Qaid Farhan Al-Qadi from Hamas captivity in Gaza.

"On the morning of October 7th, Al-Qadi was abducted near Mivtahim. The soldiers reached his location with the help of precise intelligence. There are additional details that we can not publish at this stage since there are still forces on the ground," Hagari stated.

Hagari noted that the hostage was rescued from a tunnel in the southern Gaza Strip. He added: "We questioned Farhan on the ground to receive initial details. We will learn more from him later."

"I ask not to spread information on social media for the safety of the soldiers and hostages." Later, answering a question by the media, Hagari stated that "the IDF's job is to create conditions for the return of the hostages. We present the options to the political echelon."... Read More: Arutz-7
