About the Position

We are looking for a Full Time Retail/Office Clerk and we will train! This is a fabulous opportunity to join our retail team and to be trained to run the front desk and assist the owner and bookkeeper. No prior retail or office experience necessary but MUST have some basic computer skills including familiarity with Windows, writing and sending E-mail and navigating the internet.

Responsibilities, for which you will be trained, include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner.
• Answer phone and emails
• Respond to customers’ questions.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Assist owner with scheduling, contacting customers and vendors and organization
• Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
• Enter data into QuickBooks
• Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
• Alert management of potential security issues.
• Assist with inventory, including shipping, receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Maintain and organize front desk and customer areas of the shop

Position is entry level, full time, with hourly compensation beginning at $18.00. Sunday through Thursday.

Location: Baltimore, MD
Salary: $18 per hour
