Chess Chevra is a program for students and schools around the world. We offer school partnerships, small group and private classes, and tournaments for students of all levels, ages 5 through adult.

About the Position

We are looking for dynamic and caring educators who are excited to bring out the potential in each and every student. Opportunities to teach in-person at schools and in students' homes. Virtual teaching and remote administrative opportunities, as well.

When considering candidates, we look for these criteria:
-Teaching experience with children in general (not chess-specific)
-Chess teaching experience
-Chess level
-Passion, dynamism, work ethic, and responsibility

Most Chess Chevra instructors work part time, typically 2-10 hours a week, though could be more.

Location: Baltimore, Md And Other Cities Nationwide, MD
Salary: $35-50/hr
