About the Position

EA Door Supply is a commercial door and hardware distributor serving contractors in the Maryland area.

Job Summary:

EA Door Supply is seeking a Project Admin to join its growing team. The project admin will be responsible for helping the team with the estimating process. This is an entry-level position which will include hands on training and does not require any prior experience. This role includes some data entry, logging, preparing quotes, and sending estimates to contractors. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a drive to learn. The position presents opportunities for advancement in a fast-growing company.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transferring all invitations to bid projects (ITBs) to the bid schedule, and maintain current files for each new project
• Gathering specifications, blueprints, and other documents needed to fulfill bid requirements, and importing the information into Comsense (industry specific software)
• Consolidating take-offs and sending to manufacturers for pricing
• Creating proposals reflecting an accurate pricing estimate for the scope of work
• Following up with general contractors on bids

• Computer proficiency including Excel and Word

• Ability to multi-task and quickly adjust priorities
• Ability to adhere to bid deadlines
