Baltimore, MD – Feb. 9, 2026 – Following our post last night regarding concerning material found at the Pikesville Branch of the Baltimore County Public Library, we would like to clarify the appropriate channels for community outreach.

Baltimore County Public Library (BCPL) is governed solely by the Baltimore County Board of Library Trustees, and decisions regarding library materials fall under their purview. County Council offices are not consulted on which materials are included on library shelves.
