Baltimore, MD – Jan. 26, 2026 — (BJL) A water main break has been reported on Smith Ave. between Wickfield and Maurleen. Water is currently seeping through the street and is expected to freeze over, creating potentially hazardous driving conditions.
Residents in the area are also reporting brown water in their homes.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area if possible and use extreme caution, as temperatures remain below freezing and road conditions may deteriorate quickly.
