Expect Lane Closures on Southbound I-795 from Owings Mills Blvd to I-695

Baltimore, MD – April 24, 2025 – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will be repairing damaged concrete on two of three lanes of southbound I-795, starting Friday, April 25 at 9 p.m. The work will continue through the weekend and finish by Monday, April 28 at 5 a.m., weather permitting.

Drivers should expect delays, especially between Owings Mills Boulevard and I-695 (Baltimore Beltway). Consider using alternate routes such as MD 140 (Reisterstown Road). Even when workers aren’t present, lanes will remain closed to allow the new concrete to properly cure.

🚫 No lane closures on northbound I-795.

Southbound I-795 Lane Closure Schedule:

This project is part of a $6.1 million improvement contract covering Baltimore and Harford counties. If it rains, the work will be pushed to the weekend of May 2–4.
