Toronto, Canada -  Feb. 17, 2025 - A Delta Air Lines regional jet appears to have crashed at Toronto's Pearson International Airport.

In a social media post, the airport operator said it was "aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta (Air Lines) plane arriving from Minneapolis." According to the post, emergency teams responded, and all passengers and crew members were accounted for. The Association of Flight Attendants, members of which were working the flight, wrote in a social media post that there were reportedly no fatalities.

According to social media posts from FlightRadar24, a flight tracking website, the flight involved was Delta 4819 from Minneapolis to Toronto. It was operated by Endeavor Air for Delta Connection using a CRJ-900.

Other social media posts appeared to show the regional jet upside down on the tarmac in Toronto.

USA TODAY has reached out to Delta and the airport operators for more information.

This incident comes on the heels of the widely reported mid-air collision over the Potomac River between an Army Black Hawk and an American Airlines regional jet. That event, currently under intense scrutiny by the NTSB for potential radio communication lapses and altimeter errors, has heightened concerns over regional flight safety and operational protocols in the industry. Further updates are expected.
