Motorists should expect temporary road closures and traffic modifications this weekend. Use the Waze app for live detour navigation.
Road Closures & Lane Restrictions:
Sunday, February 16, 2025:
- Jones Falls Expressway (I-83) Northbound & Southbound
- Left lane closures between Fayette St. & city/county line
- 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Cleaning activities)
Monday, February 17, 2025: Baltimore City Black History Month Parade
- Parade begins at 12:00 PM at Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd & Eutaw St.
- Major road closures from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM affecting:
- W. Franklin St., Eutaw St., Preston St., Madison Ave., Baltimore St., Fremont Ave., Mulberry St., Pennsylvania Ave., Druid Hill Ave. & MLK Blvd.
- Parking restrictions from 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM on affected streets.
- Expect temporary traffic stops during the parade. Use alternate routes.
Charm City Circulator Detour (Monday, Feb. 17, 2025):
- Orange Route detour from 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Affected stops: 209, 210, 214, 215, 216, 217
- Use stops along Lombard & Pratt Streets during detour.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes.
