A UAV crashed in the area of Binyamina in northern Israel, wounding 20 people, five of them severely wounded, Israeli media reported on Sunday, citing Magen David Adom (MDA).
A helicopter arrived at the scene to evacuate the wounded.
The UAV was sent from Lebanon under the cover of a Hezbollah rocket barrage.
Three UAVs were launched toward Israel, but one of the UAVs penetrated deep into Israel, crashing in the Binyamina area. No alarms were activated.
MDA reported that three people were critically wounded, five were seriously wounded, and 14 were moderately wounded.
