Defense Minister Yoav Gallant arrived today (Wednesday) for a visit with Unit 9900 of the Intelligence Corps, which gathers visual intelligence, and mentioned Israel's plans to retaliate for Iran's massive ballistic missile attack last week.

He received an overview of the unit's activities for the preparation of the latest strikes in Lebanon, and commented on the level of preparedness for the expected attacks in the various theaters of the ongoing war.

Gallant told the members of Unit 9900: "I have a lot of appreciation for what the unit and the entire formation are doing, which is very, very impressive. In fact, thanks to you, we see the entire Middle East - Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iraq and everywhere else, we see very precisely and clearly, very focused wherever we want."

"You saw the attacks that the Iranians launched against us a short time ago, these attacks were aggressive, but these attacks failed because they were not precise attacks. The Air Force was not harmed, all the routes are functioning, continuity is maintained, not a single plane was harmed, not a single soldier was harmed, not a single civilian was hurt," he said.

"On the other hand, when we talk about your abilities, of the IDF, of the Intelligence Division and of the Air Force and the entire system - the accuracy at all these points is very, very focused, the ability to attack is very great, and as we have done until now in the war in all the other sectors - whoever attacks we will be hurt and will pay a price. Our attack will be deadly, precise, and above all surprising. They will not understand what happened and how it happened, they will see the results," Gallant emphasized.
