Jerusalem, Israel - June 22, 2022 - The annual Shavuah Hasefer HaIvri or Hebrew Book Week has opened in Jerusalem's First Station. The popular event has for years attracted diverse large crowds of all ages each evening. Booksellers, publishers, and authors attend to share their work with an eager public.

One author on Sunday evening was Leah Gottesman. Together with her husband Rabbi Dr. Menachem Gottesman, published a book in Hebrew, and in English entitled "Not at Risk: Education as a Work of Heart."

The Gottesman founded and lead Jerusalem's Mercaz L'Mida Dati Learning Center ('Meled') working to transform the lives of youth and restore families for over twenty years. Available on Amazon, "Not At Risk" is the story of Gottesman's groundbreaking educational work. They share not "only experiences and insights of faculty members and parents, but heartwarming, and at times deeply painful, personal stories of former students."

Along with other authors, the Gottesmans were out in the pleasant evening to autograph their work. Besides books and authors, live entertainment for young children is available.

In Yerushalayim, never too young to introduce the love of a good story or good book. The event runs throughout Israel in various venues, and at First Station until June 25th.
