The Tesla and SpaceX CEO reached an agreement with the company last week to purchase every share of the social media giant for around $44 billion, promising a more lenient approach to the way content is handled.
Musk on Tuesday replied to his own tweet about the Freemasons, the world's largest and oldest fraternity, saying that he will never charge fees for casual Twitter accounts but may implement a "slight cost for commercial/government users."
He has previously said he plans to take Twitter private. If he does, the company will no longer be beholden to shareholders or publicly report its financial results, which have been mixed since the company went public in 2013.
