The Department of Public Works announces partial lift of the boil water advisory for a portion of Baltimore City and the areas of concern in the county.

During a news conference Wednesday night, Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott and DPW officials said the precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted in the area south and southwest of Route 40, including the original precautionary area in Baltimore County. The boil water advisory is lifting partially and fully because DPW officials said they are waiting for data to confirm there is no E. coli and total coliform in the samples taken.

However, the advisory remains in effect for portions of West Baltimore in areas roughly from Riggs Avenue to West Franklin Street and North Carey Street to North Pulaski Street.... Read More: WBAL TV
