In a new report, the Baltimore's Office of the Inspector General says the Mayor's Office of Children and Family Success sent $375,000 to a hacker posing as a vendor with municipal contracts.

The hacker was able to compromise the vendor's email and change bank accounts without anyone noticing.

The hacker's account was eventually frozen.

In response to the incident, the Department of Finance Director Henry Raymond says the office has strengthened internal protocols and continues to reviews its policies.... Read More: WBAL
