Jerusalem, Israel - May 17, 2022 - On Monday, May 16, 2022, in Jerusalem, Israel, the inaugural meeting of the new Knesset Israel Victory Caucus was held in the Israeli Knesset's Jerusalem Hall.

Member of Knesset Zvi Hauser and Knesset Member Evgeny Sova led the session with MK Yuval Steinitz.  The caucus was formed to raise awareness, that the victory of Israel over its enemies means the victory of the Zionist idea and recognition that the State of Israel is the national homeland of the Jewish people.

“Israel lives in a difficult neighborhood and we need a victory to ensure the continuation of the State of Israel,” Hauser stated. “We need to look not only victorious in the eyes of enemies, but also internally.”

Member of Knesset Simcha Rothman of the Religious Zionist party attended briefly and added “we cannot be victorious if we don't know who the enemy is.”

Speaking on video were two U.S. Congressmen. Scott Perry of Pennsylvania expressed regrets about not being able to attend in person. “We stand solidly along with all our friends in Israel as you fight terror and violence. Your greatest friend and ally, the US, stands with you at all times and mourns with you when violence has succeeded in your country.” Charles Joseph Fleischmann of Tennessee also appeared online in support of Israel.

Everyone in the room listened carefully as Yair Maimon retold his successful stopping a terrorist who infiltrated the community of Tekoa.

Among the participating attendees and speakers were former MK and retired General Uzi Dayan, MK Dr. Yossi Shain, who is also a full professor of comparative government and diaspora politics at Georgetown University, and the founding director of the Program for Jewish Civilization (PJC) at Georgetown, Gregg Roman, and NGO Monitor's Olga Deutsch.
