The political-security cabinet discussed in detail today (Thursday) the government's response to the Palestinian Authority's appeal to the International Criminal Court in The Hague to rule on Israel's 'occupation' of Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem, Channel 12 News reported.

According to the report, several options were put on the table during the discussion, including the denial of VIP transit certificates to Israel which are given to the senior PA officials.

Most of the cabinet ministers supported the proposal. Inside the room, there was general agreement that a "political price tag" is needed to punish the PA for resorting to a unilateral move that has far-reaching consequences for Israel.

It was also reported that Netanyahu asked the ministers not to leak the details of the discussion, but it was his office that published a non-blurred photo from the discussion in which the subject of the discussion can be seen on one of the binders visible in the photo.
