Recent Mediterranean oil spill an act of 'environmental terrorism,' Gila Gamliel says

A "pirate ship" owned by a Libyan company that departed from Iran is accountable for the recent oil spill in the Mediterranean sea, Israel's Environment Protection Minister Gila Gamliel said on Wednesday.

"After reducing the number of suspects in the incident, we discovered that it was not just environmental crime - but environmental terrorism," she said in a tweet.
